Feeding Ministry

Many children in food insecure families receive free breakfast and lunch during the week at school, but it can be a struggle for families to have enough to eat over the weekends. The All Saints' Feeding Ministry provides shelf-stable food to help bridge the gap!

Our Feeding Ministry serves children in Fort Worth in Como Community Center, Jo Kelly School, Glen Park Elem., Bonnie Brae Elem., Mary Louise Phillips Elem. and Boulevard Heights.

We are currently in need of donations to help support their weekly distribution of food. Items include:

  • Shelf stable 1% white or chocolate milk

  • Juice boxes

  • Fruit snacks

  • Fruit cups

  • Applesauce

  • Granola bars

  • Mac and cheese cups

  • Crackers

Please place items in the baskets provided in the Chapel.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry of All Saints' Episcopal Church makes shawls (18x60), lap throws (15"x40"), and 10" prayer squares which are knitted or crocheted by members of the congregation. As each item is lovingly begun, and throughout the process, prayers are said for the (usually unknown) recipient by the one who is knitting or crocheting, thus weaving prayer into each stitch. After completion, the shawls, throws and squares will be blessed and given to those in need of comfort during especially challenging times.

If you are interested in creating items for the Prayer Shawl Ministry, please contact Jill Kolstad for more information.
