Godly Play Visitor

The Executive Director of the Godly Play Foundation, Heather Ingersoll, will join us for worship and lunch immediately following the 11:15 service. She will give a brief talk about the work of the Foundation and answer any questions you may have about the methodology.

Godly Play is a bedrock of All Saints’. We are proud to steward the oldest, continuously running Godly Play program in the world.

The pedagogy is founded in the Montessori method and presumes that each child has an innate experience of God; they simply lack the language with which to explore that relationship. Godly Play provides that language through storytelling, play, and wonder.

Even if you do not have a child in Godly Play, your experience of All Saints’ has been formed by Godly Play. Its ethos impacts every aspect of our Christian Education - from Wednesday night Bible Study, to our special events, to the Sunday Adult Forum. Whether you know it or not, you have been formed by Godly Play.

I hope that you will join us this Sunday as we welcome Heather Ingersoll to All Saints’! If you plan to join us for lunch, please send your RSVP’s to our Director of Christian Education, Bailey Rector at brector@asecfw.org
