Westaid

For over 25 years WestAid has been serving the residents of Fort Worth. Thousands of individuals receive food from WestAid each year. WestAid works closely with the Tarrant Area Food Bank to serve the needs of the community.  All Saints' supports WestAid directly via food drives, volunteer support, and monetary donations.

Humane Society

In conjunction with the "Blessing of the Pets" each fall at All Saints' we collect for the Humane Society of North Texas.  Much needed items such as food and bedding are gathered, then delivered to the local shelter on Lancaster.

Adopt-a-Family

It is time!! In November of each year we work with local schools to identify needy families and supply Christmas gifts of clothes and toys.  You can sponsor a family, just go shop, wrap, or deliver, to support this amazing ministry!

Sandwich Ministry

The All Saints' Sandwich Making Ministry, or as we sometimes like call it, the Saintwich Ministry, makes sandwiches -- about 1,000 of them -- each month during the school year for clients of the Presbyterian Night  Shelter. We will meet on selected Sunday afternoons at 12:15 p.m. in DeWolfe Hall.

Our Sandwich Ministry coordinator is Xander van Rossum, 972-413-0218.

Below are some upcoming Sandwich Making dates:

  • Sunday, March 25

This is a great ministry for your whole family and your friends! All are invited to join us. Wear clothing that you won't mind getting mustard on.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry of All Saints’ Episcopal Church crafts shawls and lap throws. As each item is lovingly created prayers are said for the intended recipient by the one who is knitting or crocheting, thus weaving prayers into each stitch. After completion, the items are blessed and given to those in need of comfort. When the shawl or lap throw is received, the recipient is then wrapped or covered in prayers and blessings, the very presence of God.

The responsibility of this ministry is intended to be shared throughout the entire congregation. The shawls and lap throws are not only for members of All Saints’ but for anyone you know who would be comforted by one. You can help by knitting or crocheting, delivering finished items, or providing supplies.

Watch for information on Prayer Shawl meetings in the eGazette and ProO newsletter.  For more information, contact Jill Kolstad
